MC OKOYE TO HOST 'DOMINION OF COMEDY' VALENTINE EXPO IN UNIABUJA

After the success of the first phase of his major event-Dominion of Comedy, MC Okoye has promised to continue in his bid to make the world know Comedy Industry is worth it in Nigeria and far beyond. He stated this shortly after heart to heart discussion with another top gun in the Comedy Industry, the famous Prinz Talker. He made it known that another bombshell will drop in the University of Abuja on the 13th February, 2016; he tagged it "Dominion of Comedy;Valentine Expo" the event is scheduled to hold on the eve of Valentine Day and many comedians from far and wide will grace the event.

It just dawned on me that many of us put the blame of the atrocities of the Islamic Sect- Boko Haram on the Federal Government particularly President Goodluck Jonathan, though he is the man in charge of the general arm forces and he is not to be exonerated because he is no where near being a saint, but much of this blame is expressed with high sense of partisanship which does not connote democracy. While praying in a ‘small’ mosque in a local area of the FCT- Abuja where most people will believe is less populated by Hausa considered to the North West and other North East states, I saw how little Northern wanderers generally called ‘almajiris’ hustle for survival, each time they see people coming out of the mosque to give them alms, their patience got missing and they make the atmosphere turbulent for themselves to the extent of hurting their helpers if the help is delayed. This is how these wanderers survive each day, I was befuddled because I believe each of these wanderers did not drop from the heaven, certainly they have parents if they lack homes,who should get a blame for letting these children out to survive on their own at these tender age? The government? Many Northerners have ruled this country more than any other citizens from other parts of the country, what has been their contributions over time to submerge this predicament? Let us call a spade a spade and not an agricultural tool, more blame should be put on Northern parents and leaders than anybody. In addendum, there is a saying that if a tail is a oo long, it will be stepped on, if any of these wanderes are being offered a little amount more than he could imagine, he can bring down the heaven for his helpers, are they not easy to be tamed into terrorism considering what they go through? However, let all Northern parents keep their wards indoor and let all Northern leaders starting from the supervising councillor to the local government chairman, house of representative members and senators together with the governor of the Northern states be cognisance of their immediate environment before local problems will become national or international bane. Furthermore, the Federal Government through the ministry of youth development should desisit from operating only on National level and make a decentralization of their services to check the growth of and development of youths in each region. In conclusion, let the problems of insurgency be tackled from the root and shed no blame on the wrong part. I believe this is just a trying time for this nation, it will be over as soonas everyone puts all hands on deck.
